Ktima Pavlidis

Ktima Pavlidis is located in Kokkinogia, in the northwest part of Drama prefecture, about 19 kilometers from the city of Drama. It was founded in 1998 by Christoforos Pavlidis, who after a persistent search has chosen this particular area to install the vineyards and the winery. Ktima Pavlidis’ privately-owned vineyards are situated in the region of Kokkinogia and of Perichora. Both sites are well known for their vineyards since antiquity. The main goal of Ktima Pavlidis is to produce fine wines from Greek indigenous and international varieties bearing the unique characteristics of the terroir. Ktima Pavlidis is one of the rare wineries in Greece night harvesting. A visit to Ktima Pavlidis includes a tour in the privately-owned vineyard of Kokkinogia, followed by a tour of the production area. The visitor will be taken through the winery, in a building of cutting-edge architecture of 3.000 m², minimalist with contemporary, simple lines, inspired by the New World style.

Ktima Vourvoukeli

In 1999, the family of Nikos and Flora Vourvoukeli planted 2 hectares on the fertile hills of the area with indigenous and foreign wine grape varieties, with a view to realizing their vision of reviving the famous Avdira vineyard. It gradually developed into a privately owned 10-hectare vineyard. At present, two of the sons, Georgios and Odysseas, are involved with winegrowing and wine making, having both had extensive education and training in this field. The traditional winery of the Vourvoukeli family, which accepts visitors, was completed in 2005. It is located at the entrance of Avdira, on the provincial road 20 km from the town of Xanthi and 40 km from the Kavala International Airport "Megas Alexandros". The winery features state-of-the-art equipment, operating under strict HACCP food safety controls and certified with ISO 22000 to ensure quality. At Vourvoukelis Estate the visitor has the opportunity to experience the wine ritual, being informed about the production process and visiting the cellar with the oak barrels where the wine ageing process takes place under controlled humidity and temperature levels, as well as the area where the bottled wine is kept in order to develop and mature under natural temperature and humidity conditions. There is also a reception area for visitors, an event hall for exhibitions and lectures and a tasting hall for those wishing to be introduced to the art and philosophy of wine.

Domaine Costa Lazaridi

Domaine Costa Lazaridi was founded in Adriani, Drama, Greece in 1992. Its aim was to produce high quality wines and traditional distils (tsipouro). The company has slowly upgraded its facilities and equipment and subsequently enriched the range of its products with grape distils, ouzo and aged balsamic vinegars (aceto balsamico) A significant asset of the Estate is our privately owned 280 hectare vineyard in the region of Drama, where we cultivate both Greek and international varieties and ensures our self-sufficiency for all our grape based products. The majority of our wines and other products are exported to 23 countries. In the year 2000 on the shores of Lake Marathon in Attica close to Athens, we began planting a new 20 hectare organic vineyard. Following that, between 2003 and 2006 we completed “Oenotria Land Costa Lazaridi”, a building complex of 12.800 m2 with multiple functions which include a state of the art winery, a wine museum, a conference hall, exhibition areas.
