This is a gorgeous stretch of sandy beach, perfect for chilling out especially if you are staying at a hotel on the beach or as a day trip. Beautiful clear water with some waves.

Ideal place for good food and an amazing beach. Good shops and cafes to enjoy. Ideal for over 50's but don't go too far out of the resort as it can be very hilly. Excellent boat trips and lovely island to explore.

Having read the reviews my husband asked if we could go riding for his birthday present. We packed jeans and sensible shoes for riding and after a couple of days I phoned Pantelis leaving the 4 days notice that he asked for. I told him the date and the day 3 times and he answered me clearly each time saying "Yes Thursday at 5.30 at the Taxi Station". We duly planned our day round the ride and when we arrived at 5.15 so we would not be late we were told by the local taxi driver that he had turned up the night before. When we phoned him again he said that he come to pick us up on Wednesday as arranged, eventually he did admit that it was his fault. but he could not arrange another ride until the following Monday which was no good for us as we were travelling home very early the following morning. IF YOU DO WANT TO USE HIM I SUGGEST YOU GET A GREEK SPEAKING PERSON TO PHONE SO THERE IS NO PROBLEMS. Not only did it really spoil my husbands birthday we packed jeans and shoes that we did not need. Not happy!

Poor access to this place and all locked up so unless you climb over the railings which we did, you won't get to see the mosaics. Worth a look as in the area but sadly being neglected.

Watch out for turtle nests. Bit more peaceful this end, less thumpy beach bars, a couple of reasonably priced tavernas.
