Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre

A Manitoba Star Attraction! The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre houses the largest collection of marine reptile fossils in Canada. If you like dinosaurs or sea monsters you will love "Bruce" our 43 ft (13 mtr) Mosasaur, the fiercest of all the marine reptiles. He's bigger than a T Rex and just as scary. It's because of him that the Cretaceous seas were considered the most dangerous of all time. In 2014 the Guinness Book of World Records officially recognized Bruce as the largest Mosasaur on display ANYWHERE! Join our staff on the beautiful Manitoba Escarpment in their search for Bruce's mother. All you have to do is register for one of our Fossil Dig Programs to begin your own outdoor fossil finding adventure.

We took our 2 grandsons aged 7 & 11 to check out the fossils on the 1st day of spring break. It is a small museum but full of displays and information about prehistoric dinosaurs and fossils. We learned about how the world was covered...MoreWe're glad you came for a visit. When both of your grandsons are over 10 bring them for a fossil dig in the summer.

Manitoba Baseball Hall Of Fame Museum

Went here while we waited for the fossil museum (downstairs) to open. Like one of the other reviewers mentioned, we were there on a Saturday and part of the museum was closed off. No one works there (that I can tell) to tell you when it's fully open. We still got to see 75% of it. If your a fan of local/semi pro sports this place if for you. Lot's of interesting stories about players and teams from all over Manitoba

Minnewasta Golf & Country Club

We love playing this course albeit it is a little jaunt from Winnipeg. Very nice layout; in good condition with a few elevation shots. I would definitely recommend to get out here and play a game for a change of pace from the city.

As for a yoga studio. It's very personal service with great aditute. The price for seasons are very reasonable. It provides flexible hours. Lots of space to park in the back when front street is full.
