Lulworth Outdoors

Lulworth Outdoors deliver a range of great activities within the Lulworth Estate. Our watersport activities are based out of the main Lulworth Cove Visitor Centre which is less than a 5 minute walk to the sea. This close proximity gives us more time on activity and less time faffing between our kitting-up area and the true start of your experience. Archery takes place within the grounds of Lulworth Castle and Park, thereby giving you the opportunity to spend a day exploring our wonderful countryside. As a part of the Lulworth Ranger team we have access to a number of areas that are out of bounds to other corporations. For example, we are the only coasteering company able to operate at Man O' War Bay and Durdle Door, this gives us a great option when the sea conditions are less favourable at our usual location. Our activities include: Coasteering Mountain Biking Archery Bush Craft Orienteering Guided Walks ...plus many other events organised throughout the year. If you are interested in any of our activities then the best next step is either to give us a ring or visit our website. All our pricing is openly available on the website.

My daughters, 5 and 8, love visiting create at the cove and ask to go every time they have a sleepover at their grandparents in Wareham (which is often!). The crafts and refreshments are reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful. A great place to entertain the children on a rainy day, or combine it with some lovely outdoor activities on the Jurassic coast. I would highly recommend to children and adults alike

The walk due to social distancing is about 20 minutes over undulating terrain The walk was lovely and scenic and the view when you arrive at the costal path is well worth it The walk along the cliff top was excellent with stunning views over the sea towards Bournemouth The famous Durdle Dor was simply stunning and beautiful Man o war bay on the northern side is beautiful also We recommend early morning start to avoid the busy period and the endless stream of people heading down to the beaches It’s no wonder this place is one of the most photographed place in the UK! Well worth the effort to go.

Durdle Door & White Nothe Circular Walk

A challenging walk along the South West Coast Path. It is a switchback up and down four hills before returning along a relatively level ridge. It offers great photo opportunities passing some of the geological highlights of the Jurassic Coast. In late Spring and early summer the limestone grassland beside the path is full of rare flowers and clouds of butterflies.

Enjoy the stunning views on your way. You park your car, you get out of the car ... and just BREATHE in the divinity of nature around you ... Aaah !! This place is so serene ... the sound of the waves, the visual play, the clouds, the sun rays penetrating through the clouds ... and then of course the Durdle Door ... a door at the shore leading you into the sea. Must visit.

Lulworth Heritage Centre

We looked round the Visitor Centre on Friday. We found the staff friendly and informative. We had a long chat with one young man who was most knowledgeable about the local bird life and he supplied us with interesting information also giving us plenty of time to chat. The shop was well stocked with original gifts at reasonable prices. A great addition to this beautiful area.
