Breathtaking views and amazing experience in Dorokyo gorge. Amazing boat trip in such a untouched nature. We even managed to see the baby wildboar and the snake. Definitely worth to visit!

Tanizeno Tsuribashi

Reviewed By erictr0n

Mesmerizing unobstructed views from Tanizeno Tsuribashi. The suspension bridge has a beautiful linear design and constructed of cable and wood planking which allows for a fun rickety stroll across while gazing down into the river directly below. The bridge itself is a testament to the strong community bond of the people of Totsukawa, who came together to have the bridge rebuilt (at a high per capita cost) after a typhoon destroyed the old bridge in the 60s. Amazing experience and completely safe (and no admission fee). Convenient roadside parking lot (~400円) about 1 minute away.
