This museum is located at the top of a hill so if you are not a good walker I suggest a taxi. There is an escalator from the parking lot. Inside you are invted to watch a video. There is even one in english!! This is mostly the history of Christianity in Japan and the Shimabara rebellion. Very nicely done up.

We went to this place as part of the Amakusa Gurutto sightseeing bus. It has a very nice architecture. Unfortunately, the back part of the church is wooden because of lack of funds. I hope more people will visit this wonderful place.
