Situation amongst the Fishing Huts , absolutely fascinating museum with so much local history, wonderful photos of local fishermen’s families and times gone by. Good shop with some great souvenirs.

Important Update** Announcement to all visitors: August 2020 The Shipwreck Museum Trustees have decided to close the Museum until spring 2021. We have made this decision to spend time focusing on improving exhibitions, and undertaking vital conservation work. We have some exciting projects underway that will improve the visitor experience and modernise the museum. We’d like to thank all visitors for their continued support and look forward to welcoming you back. We will post further information in the near future on our progress.

Staff are really friendly. Free entry , park behind in large car park and walk through, great things to see, a ship called the Amsterdam is in Holland ( a complete replicate) this is the same ship they are getting treasure and a lots of interesting stuff, watch the video, thank you guys great place

This museum is amazing!! I've always had a interest in the crime world and this made my day! all the interesting facts and memorabilia was so good to see up close. it really peaked my interest to find out more about this crimes when i got home. nice staff and clean and lovely.
