One of our favorite castles in Portugal. We are into history and castles, so this was an awesome visit. Truly incredible views from the hilltop out over the town and valley. Easy to access, with parking at the top of hill near the cemetery (when there are not event weekends at the castle). We loved talking with the curator, and seeing the 3D movie and 'cartoon' about the history and legends of the castle. Plenty of amazing photo opps of the castle itself and the views from the heights.
