Kedah (Malay pronunciation: [kəˈdɑh]; Jawi: قدح), also known by its honorific Darul Aman or "Abode of Peace", is a state of Malaysia, located in the northwestern part of Peninsular Malaysia. Gunung Jerai or Kedah Peak is a stunning place of historic, geological, zoological interests as well as being a great place for relaxing with friends and family. The views and facilities of the Gunung Jerai Resort near the peak of the mountain are fabulous and there are plenty to entertain children as well as adults. Cascading waterfalls, never-ending jungle walks, mountain biking, padi fields and even a trip to the seaside are all available. The people of Kedah are wonderfully friendly and we were made to feel so at home everywhere we went.
