La Sagesse Nature Center

An informal 10-room country house next to a tranquil, Atlantic-side beach.

Loved this beach. There is also a restaurant, bar and rooms here. Beach is public. Nice soft sand, clear water, good and safe swimming. Nice to walk beach. On far end is a pond where birds can be seen. Unfortunately it is being destroyed. A hotel will be built there. Now they are bulldozing all the land and trees and plants around and will fill in pond-so these birds will be displaced. What a tragedy! Very, very sad! Not to mention the erosion and how this will affect the water quality of the beach. I hope more of Grenada does not succumb to this.

I visited the point three times during my 10 days visit. It was so peaceful and I only saw I person on these visits. I spent a couple of hours on each visit sitting on a bench overlooking the coastline towards St George and Grand Anse beach. It is the perfect place to sit and read or just watch the sea. You can see BBC/Morne Rouge beach from the other side of the point
