Funky and unique gem of a little cinema in the heart of Phnom Penh. Great value at only $3.50 to see films all day! Run entirely by volunteers who are friendly and helpful.Supports documentary film makers and helps to get their message out about political and social issues around the world. Best popcorn in town!

OFFICIAL 'THE KILLING FIELDS' SCREENING VENUE IN PHNOM PENH The Empire Movie House is not longer named the Empire on the outside. Now located inside "Splash Bar" but we are still the same cozy 18 seat theatre, complete with lounging pads and couches for the ultimate movie experience. We will be showing "The Killing Fields" and "First They Killed My Father" daily starting in November (currently under renovation) as well as movies by request. Watch it, Drink it, Eat it, at The Empire.
