Title basically says it all. Only had the breakfast, but it was terrific. Pancakes, yoghurt, good bread, nice coffee, eggs, etc. Everything you want and more. Price is a bit steep but worth it and in Europe you get way less quality for that price. Besides when you're done you probably don't have to eat until diner.

Tairyo is a chain and I had been to the one in Fuzhou many times. It suffers in comparison. Jinan is a very Chinese city with a lack of international influence. The restaurant is located in the upmarket Parc 66 shopping centre and it's one of those places to be seen to portray the Chinese rich face that many love to show.The restaurant wisely seems to be catering to Chinese taste at the expense of Japanese authenticity and the teppanyaki style so the menu and cooking of the dishes seemed Chinesified to me. In fact, they have a large menu: strong on seafood but I'm sure it's frozen and/or farmed as my scallops had a lack of flavour. My friend had a steak and gave me a little and it was average but not tender enough really. You can pick an array of small dishes or get various packages if you are very hungry.Service is OK and the prices are reasonable (though the beer is a bit pricey). Not a lick of English so make sure you have a Chinese friend but that's normal for Jinan.Look it' s worth a try as Jinan's choices are very limited. but Malena's Belgian beer bar is far better for foreigners.
