As the most southern city in mainland Great Britain, Truro grew as a centre of trade from its port and then as a stannary town for the tin mining industry. Its cathedral was completed in 1910. Came here with the family whilst I was visiting them from London. Iâve been here before and had always been satisfied. Being part Italian, I adore Italian food and it was lovely! The staff were very friendly and very attentive. Definitely will return when Iâm back down in Truro!

I came here with 7 work colleagues as it was someoneâs leaving do. We were greeted by our waiter and taken to our table. We ordered drinks which came out quite quickly but our food did take a while to arrive, it was worth the wait though. The pizzas we all had tasted amazing, so much flavour. Desserts came out quite quickly and again tasted great. I would recommend coming here as the food and drinks are reasonably priced too.

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch and liked the look of this building and the restaurant within, we werenât disappointed. Now I know this is a chain, and so may dislike that, but for us the food quality is generally good, then menu varied enough and the cost reasonable. This Pizza Express also had good attentive service and speed, we were impressed and had a lovely lunch with a couple of drinks

Newly opened within the Truro College building, Haven House, Spires Coffee Bar is run by 2 Truro College apprentices. They have created a really great value lunch menu with speciality Barrista Coffees and cold drinks. It is modern, light and relaxing, cheaper than most venues in town and is developing into the new place to hang out.

Newly opened Italian Restaurant , a great experience from the Welcome at the door to the Goodnight wishes on leaving.Each course was fresh , cooked to perfection and delicious .Wine equally delicious and complimented our meal. Delighted to have an independent restaurant rather than the dreaded â chain â restaurants . I wish them every success in the future . I will definitely be returning to sample more from their menu.
