We had read good reviews about this restaurant so decided to try it, we rang and booked a table for 2 for a thursday nighT.When we arrived at the restaurant we were surprised to see we were the only ones in, however we decided to stay and ordered our food.The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us, the food was delicious and plentiful I would reccomend the Perla der Mar to anyone, unfortunatly because we were the only diners there was no atmosphere in the place which spoiled it for us.We are glad you enjoyed your meal in with us, it is actually very rare that we aren't busy and sorry this ruined the atmosphere for you. Typically we are booked 2-4 weeks in advance and can't always guarantee tables, but like any business we all experience quiet days. If you like a very busy atmosphere we suggest dining in on Friday or Saturday as they are our busiest days. We hope to see you again, hopefully on a busier evening.

We decided on spec to go out for a meal for my sons birthday. I had seen good reviews about the Gatehouse but my family was a little hesitant as although we drive past regularly we never thought of popping in. We we were very impressed !! The staff were lovely and welcoming , The menu was concise but good. The food came quickly and was amazing !! My son had the Hanging Kebab , Loved it , My wife had the Lamp shank and it didnt touch the sides and both me and my daughter both really enjoyed our meals very much. We will definitly return and recomend a vist.

It was 8 oâclock in the evening and we just fancied a burger but not something mass produced and tasteless. We called in at All Hail the Burger and ordered two cheeseburgers. I am writing this 30 seconds after eating them. They were the best burgers we have ever had. This is not just the best burger place in Leigh, it is the best in the North West. Just had a look on their web site and I am well impressed. They use all local produce, the finest beef and make them all fresh daily. The added taste of being cooked over coals is superb. If they gave Michelin stars for take always, this place would get one. All credit to the chef / proprietor. Brilliant!

Great little cafe and lovely staff. Loads of healthy options including a slimming world special....which if it is syn free...was excellent. Not a critism hence the 5 stars but the coffee, hmm you have Salford Roasters on your doorstep, get them in, much tastier. Overall it's excellent and I recommend it wholeheartedly.Hi michelinadviser, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your kind review. Lovely lunch here. I chose 3 starters. All of them were delicious. The staff very attentive and friendly. The front outside space was clean and presentable.I had creme brulee as well very nice.I've been before and will come again.
