Хозяйка очень гостеприимная и радушная. Номер вполне комфортный - есть все необходимое для ночевки. Симпатичный пруд с голосистыми лягушками и хороший садик, в котором приятно отдохнуть. Завтрак вкусный и вполне достаточный. Есть обеденная зона во дворе. Впечатление самое благоприятное.

Excellent lodging, hard to get to without a car
Reviewed By travelingmom59I booked this lodging during a trip to Lithuania in June 2019. I was travelling exclusively by public transportation. I took the bus from Vilnius and was dropped at the bus stop near the highway in Rumsiskes. The walk from the bus stop took about 20 minutes but was flat and safe. The road is not very busy. The interesting part came when I got to the museum and found out where the lodging is located. I had to drag/carry my suitcase down a long flight of stairs, across a bridge, then up a sandy gravel path uphill to the lodgings. Because I got there early there was nowhere to put my luggage but finally a staff member let me put it in a small staff break room. The room was lovely but walking there with luggage to and from the entrance was a lot of work. I'm sure most people drive. Although I was traveling alone I had a suite of two bedrooms and bath. The rooms were spotlessly clean and overlooked a beautiful rolling landscape. I ate at the little coffee shop nearby but because I was there for St. John's Day I was able to eat dinner at the food stands set up for the event, so I didn't visit the museum restaurant. As others have described, the water is pretty nasty, I would say it is full of iron. Bring bottled water.
