Reviewed By utsab mWe were a group of 19 people who took a 4 Rooms for a Wash &Change with a lunch Buffet for 19 people .It was a real disappointment for us as we had guest with us we were embarrassed with the kind infrastructure and service provided.My humble request to the management if they take hospitality seriously then please kindly get upgraded we don’t mind paying you but at least the food u serve should hot in the buffet .U place a buffet without a fuel in it and when u complain for the same u see the arrogance of the staff that nothing is wrong .Only Mr.Ghosh whom we found to be a decent guy with a minimum courtesy to be sorry.Really u people need to understand if u want sustainability in business please grow up.

Reviewed By basudevKolkataRead the reviews and went to stay here for a night for a breakjourney. And the night was a nightmare. At first, had to find it after the driver of the rented car asked for it for tens of times. Then had to take off shoes before going upstairs to our room where there was almost no place to move. No place to sleep at all. Less said about the food is better. Almost no water coming out of the taps in the toilet. And the breakfast was wonderful with boiled rice and egg costing a lot. Well, obviously there is no money-receipt or anything, everything is forgery and fraud here....

Slightly inside, but with an added benefits of free from noise and air pollution of vehicular traffic. Clean neat spacious, well maintained rooms. Spacious bathroom with adequate supplies of toiletry and white towels and napkins. Good courteous, ready to assist staff Beautiful Restaurant with little slow service but good food. Close to Airport - morning it took us about 7 to 8 minutes to reach Airport. Hotel had arranged drop, a new AC Desire Car on charable basis @ Rs. 300. Driver reported 10 minutes before time. We had booked room thr Agoda @ Rs. 2650 inclusive of Breakfast and all Taxes. Breakfast spread was Good but items not great! We were given options to choose the room and one we selected had full glass windows on one entire side facing two huge mango trees with lovely mangoes allover the tree. We loved the ambience so much that had we not got pre-booked return Air tickets for Mumbai, we would have extended our stay just to relax. Also, 10,days back when we had visited Siliguri, we had stayed at Hotel Uddan, a very noisy hotel with no view from the rooms. In fact we could not keep our room curtains open and felt very suffocating. And room tariff was much much higher than Marina's Motel. If in future I happen to come to Siliguri, I would love to Stay at Marina's, despite distance from city center. HARISH THAKKER GOOGLE GUIDE

Do not dare to stay at this hotel
Reviewed By rishiculinarianPathetic and a dirty hotel, pathetic staff behaviour. The only room where one could find a pillar in the middle of the room (see pic). Crazy place. The owner himself was drunk with his associates at the reception. When we complained on the cleanliness of the room, the guy at the reception was rude put simply. He told me in a raised voice that the bathroom cannot be cleaned now (approx 10 pm). The bedsheets were smelly n dirty, the curtains were dusty. The pillows seemed as if they have never been cleaned (see pic of the inside the cover) The room had a damp smell to it (see pics of water seepage). The bathroom door had a dead cockroach stuck to it (see pic). I was staying there with my wife n daughter and even felt insecure in the hotel as the room next to us was given to a group of young boys who kept shouting and drinking till about 1am. Unfortunately everything can be heard across the alley, even the banging of the doors. The sounds of busses n trucks on the highway will not let you sleep. But in the end, the lack of empathy shown by the staff and the the way the rooms are being maintained, I would advise you to look for a room elsewhere.

Noisy room
Reviewed By Andrea CI spent just a night at Shivanand Lodge, it was a night stop on the road to Sikkim. This is not a clean place, the lobby and corridor are just unwatchable. My room was not that comfy and noisy. Cheap price but really basic accommodation.
