Ville Hotel

Poor Staff decent location

Reviewed By Callum T

Arrival started well as staff members offered to look after our bags as we arrived before check out time but had to go to a festival. Durin the Sunday i was double charged for the hotel and brought the problem up with staff members but they were basically calling me a liar. £630 came off my account rather than £315 but they said this wasn’t true. Had to get the money back through my bank and after proving this to them they cancelled my reservation so I couldn’t review them. Also the sofa bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on.

Great staycation destination

Reviewed By corbingj

Our second staycation in 6 months and we chose the Victoria based on availability, proximity to the main amenities and their reputation for good service. We were not disappointed. Our room was very comfortable with the usual little extras in terms of tea and coffee, and a good range of toiletries in the bathroom. Complimentary towels for the beach were available and we were pleased to be able to make use of them! A wide ranging choice of dishes on the breakfast menu, all beautifully prepared and very tasty, and local produce where possible. The staff headed by Ally were friendly and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and will go back for more of their lovely hospitality,

Only stay if you want to be kept awake all night

Reviewed By Nicola M

Only stay if you are after just a few hours peace and sleep The ‘hotel’ is situated next to a bar that is jointly owned by the same company. Karaoke bar operates until 12.30am and then everyone congregates outside in the street right next to the hotel until 2am got the after party. YOU WILL NOT SLEEP - management are aware but do not care about hotel guests who booked anticipating being able to get a decent night sleep.

Blonde Hedgehog

Expensive breakfast!

Reviewed By Z2264GCmattb

Nice hotel but shocked to get charged £41 extra for our breakfasts. The £185 daily charge only includes continental. No-one made this clear to us. Everything else about the hotel was very pleasant but we left with a bad taste in our mouths.
