As you cross into Old Nessebar the archeological museum is easy to pass by, but it is a good starting point to get a look at artifacts that are from the area. It also has a very nice icon collection in the basement that gives an idea of what would have been in some of the church on the peninsula. Some beautiful gold jewelry as well! You can also purchase a combination ticket here to all the churches and houses that are open museums in Nessebar for a discount from paying for each entry.

Museum mainly of costumes and textiles. Very large collection of textiles from all around the country and the last two centuries. Staff was helpful and a few of the displays have English in addition to the Bulgarian labels. So many embroidery examples, but could use more information to tell about the displays. Interesting building that was previously a house turned into a museum.
