We opened our doors in 2016, and offer 8 lanes of axe throwing, with the ability to host groups of up to 60 people. Axe throwing is a one-of-a-kind activity, and our interactive targets are wildly engaging, built using the latest technology creating a unique experience for anyone and everyone age 10 and up. Our coaches are the best in the business, and they are excited to share their knowledge with you. We are conveniently located in beautiful Sylvan Lake, forged from the history of the local logging industry. Since you can bring your own food into our facility, we encourage eating local! We do offer alcoholic beverages, soda and light snacks.

We brought our staff of 11 here for stage one of our Christmas party. We all spent some time practice throwing and then we had a tournament among ourselves. Who would have thought that throwing an axe would be so much fun!!! Our instructor was helpful, funny and the facility is very cool! We especially liked the "photo opp" at the end of the tournament! All of our group would recommend this fun sport and we all agreed that we would come back again! Thank you Wood Shed - Axe Throwing for getting our staff Christmas party off to a great start!

Located in beautiful Sylvan Lake, Alberta, (only 5 min north of the town of Sylvan Lake). Sylvan Lake Paintball has been in operation since 2004 and is Alberta's premier low impact paintball, as well as regular paintball combat facility. Our park contains 4 unique fields (such as tree assault course, close quarters combat arena, speedball arena, and low impact tree course) on over 7 acres of beautifully wooded, landscaped terrain designed specifically for paintball. We are open in the Spring/Summer months but our hours and services change with the seasons. Please contact us for more details.
