Top 5 Food Tours in Balearic Islands, Balearic Islands

March 14, 2022 Rosalyn Ihle

The brightest stars of Los Baleares are Majorca, Ibiza and peaceful Minorca. Situated between France and Africa, the archipelago's islands each have distinct characters. Majorca is the most developed and offers a mass of hotels, fast food joints and crowded beaches. Ibiza is loved by a hard partying set, including many gay visitors. It is also increasingly popular with upscale travelers, drawn by the chameleon island's reputation as "the new Provence." Pick an island and stake a claim on its sand.

My wife and I went to Ibiza Food Tours on our honeymoon - initially we must concede that it seemed quite expensive however by the end we thought it was excellent value! It was 5 months or so ago we went so I can’t remember full details but a lot of good food and drink was eaten - this included copious amounts of ham, pintxos, tapas (the chef has previously worked at Noma (voted world’s best restaurant multiple times)) and wine! Likewise I can’t remember the lady’s name who did the tour but she was lovely and very welcoming. As the subject of this review says if you like food you must go - my wife and I aren’t always the best in new company but we were instantly at ease and it was like we were out with old friends! Thank you :-)
