The brightest stars of Los Baleares are Majorca, Ibiza and peaceful Minorca. Situated between France and Africa, the archipelago's islands each have distinct characters. Majorca is the most developed and offers a mass of hotels, fast food joints and crowded beaches. Ibiza is loved by a hard partying set, including many gay visitors. It is also increasingly popular with upscale travelers, drawn by the chameleon island's reputation as "the new Provence." Pick an island and stake a claim on its sand.

Our stay here was absolute perfection, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The service, the room, the decor, the full breakfast spread and the location was everything we were looking for for a special honeymoon. We have loved every moment of our time at Palma Riad - and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the most memorable week.

Our Holiday was for 10 days (late May) & included 2 Adults (Grandparents in a Maris Room), 2 Adults & 2 Children (9&11yrs) in a Village Suite. Plenty of room in both for each Family. Hotel is in a lovely setting, just across the road from the beach (you will need to walk up a little to a useable/more sandy part of the beach). We upgraded our family of 4 to All-Inclusive on the 1st day & with a 9 & 11yr old it was well worth it! Included in the room price is upto 90mins per day use of the Free Spa amenities, Infinity Pool, Sauna etc...well worth it if you have someone to watch any children (under 16's not permitted). The hotel is quite secluded so you do need the local Taxi/Bus service to get you to the local towns for any daytime/night-time exploring, there is nothing near to walk to for a meal out/drink at night etc... but they are very frequent & as of May 2022 you still need a mask on the buss or they will not permit you to travel. Buffet Breakfast/Lunch & Dinner (depending on your Rate) is available inside & Lunch is also served outside at the Pool Bar (table service), food was excellent with lots of choice. *Food/Drink choices can be accessed via the App (QR code to be scanned at Bar). There were so many onsite amenities & for all ages...great to do with the Animation Team when they do the daily activities (except a Sunday, thats their day off). *Timetable of activities is also available on the App which was helpful to keep track for the kids...& Adults :-) The Animation Team were fantastic, they added a bit of extra fun to each day & it didn't stop with just the day...they hosted the night entertainment too for the Children's Mini-Club (my kids were just a little too old for the music), after this the team played modern music for them to dance & have fun. Then the night entertainment would begin, either from the Animation Team OR an outside group of performers...either way, it kept us entertained into the night. A big thank you too all the staff at the Hotel, from initially meeting the fab Reception Staff/Room Cleaning, to the main Pool Bar & main hotel indoor Restaurant...& to Fathi & his Animation Team who we spent alot of time with, Marko, Aliya, Maya, Carlota, Micha & Mille :-) We mainly did the activities with Marko who was fantastic both during the day & at night keeping us all entertained :-) Thank You. Overall the holiday was a huge hit with my family...my kids are hinting VERY HARD that they want to go back!

We are coming to the end of a 4 night stay at the Helios hotel, Palma. What a wonderful place - incredible friendly staff and service, immaculately clean (constant army of cleaners working to maintain the high standard). We had our first holiday away since Covid, and wanted a really good rest and recuperation. This was the ideal spot. Fantastic location, minutes from the beach, and we enjoyed hiring bikes to explore Palma old town which is stunning. Economy Rooms are small but have everything you need, cleaned daily and staff on hand for anything you need. Breakfast buffet was impressive, and we ended up eating at the restaurant for lunch most days, incredible fresh food prepared with real care. We found Palma to be so easy to navigate, friendly, welcoming, affordable. Definitely recommend. Pool area is lovely, even enjoyed an early morning yoga class by the pool.

Been to samos many many times allways loved this hotel, not any more rooms still nice & clean, day entertainment still same very good most of staff are the same & very friendly. Hotel falls under the 3 drink rule so we went full boad what a wast that was, breakfast OK lunch & dinner were deafull the cheapest cut of pork & tiny chicken wings every single day very very poor choice no cheese or hams to even make a salad, there was water with lunch & dinner for 7days of my holiday on day 8 the water had gone you have to pay for water with your meal I complained & all they said was what room are you in very intimidating as if don't like it leave. So had to eat out a lot. The bar is over priced one euro deposit for a plastic cup €2.50 for a small beer €2 for a pint outside hotel €7.50 for vodka & cola. I will be back to magaluf very soon but not back to samos the hotel has changed & not for the better.

This small establishment has a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, which gives it a special aura of peace and tranquility. It is in an outstanding location on the beachfront, with views over the Bay of Pollensa from the terraces and the garden at the front of the hotel in Mallorca in Spain. It is only 10 m from the extensive beach of fine sand located right in front of this Mallorca hotel, the ideal place to relax in the sun. Hoposa Hotels is pleased to announce that our establishment will begin a full remodelling next coming winter 2017-2018. Opening its doors again in May 2018 as a category and as “Adults Only hotel” with a bohemian concept, totally new, where the natural elements gain importance. The new Hoposa Pollentia is designed to offer an unbeatable experience with impeccable service.

The Hotel Meliá Cala Galdana 5* is located on the south coast of Minorca, in the municipality of Ferreries, and strategically situated on the beachfront of Cala Galdana Beach. Its very fine sand, and its heavenly appearance and excellent climate make it one of loveliest beaches on this Balearic island. In these heavenly surroundings, it offers all the facilities and services appropriate for a Resort of its category. The Hotel features elegant, modern guestrooms with views of the marvelous bay of Santa Galdana. It is worth noting that it is a hotel that has been awarded the Travelife Gold Seal due to its contribution and respect in nvironmental, cultural and social matters. Arrived 27.05.22 - 01.06.22 with daughter (aged 6) and mother. Pros - The views from the hotel over the beach are stunning - The breakfast was fantastic with the same views and lots of choice for all - Very easy access to beach from the hotel (3 mins) not easy at all if you have mobility issues - Very clean and there were lots of cleaners - Centre of Menorca is a must see, it’s so pretty and lots of lovely shops and restaurants (€30 in a taxi from hotel) - Beautiful beach, lovely and clean and clear see - watch out for the colour of the flag. Jelly fish in the sea lots of reports of stings Cons - Very small bedrooms and equally small balcony with terrifying views down - very little hanging space for clothes so we didn’t bother - Not child friendly - kids club off site from the hotel - Very, very limited vegetarian selection for evening meal, same meals provided all week (veg or lentil stew) - really poor. It wasn’t a cheap holiday expected way more effort - coffee and milk not replenished in room, constantly asking for more coffee and milk - expensive cocktails €12 each approx Definitely not a 5* star hotel but you’d still have a lovely time because of the location

We have just returned from a weeks all inclusive break. The hotel is spotlessly clean and maintained. The food is lovely, couldn’t fault it. Sometimes when food is cooked on mass it can lack taste and flavour but theirs was lovely. Lots of choice and tasty options. Couldn’t fault the hotel itself at all. The only negative I could find was it’s location. It is a walk to the town its a lot of steps yes but not a major issue if you don’t have mobility issues it’s just I like a little wander after an evening meal and there is nothing really close by. But we had sea views from our room which were lovely and the hotel itself is superb. Definitely a 4 star rating.
