San Jose del Cabo Mercado Organico

The organic market of San Jose del Cabo was born in 2002 as a space to support small local organic farmers. Later the conscious community is invited to share their talent through crafts, food, painting, photography, jewelry and other artistic expressions such as music. We have parking for motor vehicles although it is also recommended to make a walking tour from the historic center of San Jose to our market. Our visitors can expect a space recognized for being a place with soul and spirit that expresses the traditional and multicultural element of Los Cabos.

Located on a dirt road off the back road of Downtown San Jose. The first market you see is not the Organic Market, you cannot see the real Organic Market from the back road of San Jose. Once you turn off the back road, you immediately turn right and follow the dirt road about 1/2 mile to the Organic Market. Super friendly parking guys will guide you to your space, be sure to give these nice guys a tip. You should allow at least an hour maybe an hour and half to be able to take everything in. Be sure to bring small bills and coins with you. Vendors accept either Dollars or Pesos. Lots of food options, mostly mexican but there is also some Vegan vendors, bread, cookies and tea vendors. Fun local experience.

I make a trip down to our friend casa in Rosarito yearly. We always plan a dinner one night during our stay to gather everyone and have a great fiesta at our friends casa! We bought fresh Blue fin tuna and jumbo shrimp and it was incredible. The tuna was caught that morning and we got it for a great price. I sliced it up into steaks and grilled it rare YUM! The shrimp we did on the grilled with oil and garlic in a basket and also boiled some for a shrimp cocktail. YUM again. If you want fresh seafood at go prices ..this is the place!
