Costa de Caparica (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈkɔʃtɐ ðɐ kɐpɐˈɾikɐ]) is a Portuguese civil parish, located in the municipality of Almada along the western coast of the district of Setúbal. The population in 2011 was 13,418, in an area of 10.18 km². Since December 2004, the Costa de Caparica has been designated as city within the urban hierarchy of Portugal.

Jose was a really great tour guide- from beginning to end. He customised our itinerary to ensure we visited all the places important to us, and still added in a few quick stops along the way which were surprisingly beautiful and well worth detours (especially the most western point in Europe).
