Sangefjell Outdoor Cathedral

Sangefjell Outdoor Cathedral is an open-air church at about 1000 masl. It was consecrated in 2001 and is the only open-air church in the Tunsberg diocese. From Rd 7 take the road the Kleivi industrial area and follow it up to Sangefjell. 2 times a year there are services here, during Easter and summer. The cathedral contains 6 chapel: The chapel of creation, The Pilgrim Chapel, The Sinai Chapel, The Holy Family Chapel, The Cross Chapel and the Maria Chapel.

Leveld Church

Leveld Church was built in 1880, which is the same year as al Church. Both churches also as the same architect Fritz von der Lippe. The altarpiece represents the Crucifixion, painted by Christen Brun. The church is being used for services 2 - 3 times a month, together with burials, weddings, baptisms and concerts. Altogether there is 200 seats in this church and it is located by the Rd 244 towards Bergsjo.

4. Vats Mountain Church

Vats Mountain Church lies close to lake Rodungen in the Bergsjo area. The arcitecht is Elisabeth Fidjestol and lot of the work done on the church is voluntary communal work. Vats Mountain Church was consecrated in september 1990, and is being used during Christmas, winter months, Easter and 2 - 3 months during summer.

Nystol Mountain Church

The Nystol Mountain Church was first built at a chapel on Nystol in 1895. As the years went by the chapel needed support and a better house and the Nystol Mountain Church, as the name is now, was built on a new site in 1957. Yearly there are 2 services here. The church is also being used for weddings, misionary work and overnight accommodation.
