At the entrance to Molyvos Harbour, we serve all drinks, beers, cocktails, juices, coffees, etc. Our music/videoclip selection is legendary - from Frank, Ella, the Stones, to Muse, Coldplay & Lady G!! Our customers are all ages - couples, singles; and all nationalities (UK, Holland, Mainland Greece, etc), including lots of local people. Prices are low, measures are generous. Plenty of inside seating and our long balcony offers beautiful direct sea views!!!

Beautiful spot, overlooking the Molyvos Harbour. The owner is a dry wit, who is charming and thoughtful. Felt like cocktails and settled on a Mixed Berry Daquiri and an ouzo-based drink called the Jellybean. They were beautifully flavoured and strong. We stumbled home with big smiles on our faces ;) We'll definitely come back.

Alternative Sailing

Crewed sailing trips on Lesvos island and towards other Aegean islands. Dream of a Sea where... The wind blows most of the year, playfully changing its force and direction, challenging your sailing skills. There are no strong currents and no tides. You can have all the navigation aids you want but still there will be something interesting to be discovered. You can easily pass from the crowds to the total loneliness in a few miles trip. There are no sharks or poisonous "monsters" to threaten you. You do not need to wear more than a T-shirt. You can sail through the centuries since on almost every cape you can spot the ruins of an ancient temple or castle. You can rest on a volcanic rock and relocate yourself in Nature while listening to the song of a blackbird in the Sunset. Then, make your dreams come true! Sail the Aegean with ALTERNATIVE SAILING because we hold one of the keys to the Aegean Nature.

We stayed in Molyvos and loved it but wanted to see Petra and took the train, had very good time in Petra beach which is better than Molyvos .We had a very good sightseeing, fresh air; it was fun. The time schedule is very convenient, price is reasonable. If you have time, it is a different transportation option with fun. Hop in and off option is cheaper but i think it is better to leave the train, see Molyvos or Petra and have long hours will be better. Also if you want to see the Molyvos castle, you have to leave the train due to it does not stay long in that area and have to walk a little bit.

Molivos Castle

We caught the little electric train from Petra up to the castle, I should imagine it's a bit of hike up there especially in the hotter months. Fascinating place with a lot of history from its many occupations and the associated architecture and some stunning views. A walk down to the town on the shaded cobbled Street to get a bite to eat and the train back is a great way to finish off your day.
