We stopped and ended up putting on our snorkel gear. The water was clean and we even saw lobsters. This Beach is just a short distance from Morritts. It is quiet and no crowds. You can even drive up and park right on the beach.

Wreck of the Ten Sail Memorial

Reviewed By kabllbak - Providence, United States

If you're looking for a little trekking among your time on one of the most beautiful Caribbean Islands, then I highly recommend visiting the Wreck of the Ten Sail Memorial. On one of the hottest days during our 8-day stay, we stood and allowed the fierce winds to buffet us crazily, while perched at the top stop of the stone monument. Using my zoom lens, we could (looking left) view the minimally surfaced portion of the wreckage: a sobering site. The reefs can be and have proved no match for even huge sailing vessels of long ago and faraway. The history behind this site was fascinating. One learns why everything is tax-exempt on Cayman Islands.
