Glen Garioch Distillery

My father and I enjoyed the most fantastic visit with Glen Garioch on their new Founders Tour. It covered history, fine whisky, beautiful views and gourmet food. We were taken to several unique viewpoints, in the Glen Garioch mini bus, to learn about the landscape and special aspects of Oldmeldrum and the founders of GG which contribute to making Glen Garioch so unique. At each stop we enjoyed a nip of something special along side a tasty gourmet delight of the area. The tour included a delicious tasting lunch at Meldrum House Hotel of dishes prepared using Glen Garioch and accompanied by the same. This tour is a true example of how you learn about the history and culture of an area through it's food and drink. I will happily repeat this tour one day. Highly recommended.

Brew Toon

You can enjoy our craft beer in our bar and see exactly where and how our beers are made as there is a massive window in the bar, overlooking the microbrewery. Pretty cool! We also specialise in artisan coffee and have our own unique blend which is available only in our Brew Toon Cafe bar. Serving snacks and all types of drinks til late!

Amazing tour with great beer and food too! Definitely worth a visit to this five-star brewery. Friendly, community feel to the tap room and the Cullen Skink is well recommended. Knowledgeable staff create and serve some exceptionally fine beers. The tours are great value with tastings and a beer flight to enjoy afterwards. This should be on everyone's pub-crawl list whether from Peterhead or not!

BrewDog DogTap & DogWalk Brewery Tour

Every brewery deserves a tap room, and DogTap serves up the freshest BrewDog beer you can possibly imagine - made only metres away! With ten taps, our onsite bar opened in 2014, and sits in the shadow of our giant external fermenters, separated from the brewkit by a single glass door. What better way to enjoy BrewDog beer than in the place it was created; where you can smell the hops emanating from your glass and the brewery at the same time? But, wait there's more... The DogWalk Brewery Tour! The DogWalk not only takes in the original brewhouse from our previous tour but now includes our epic new expanded site 3 brewhouse, Lone Wolf distillery, the mind blowingly spacious warehouse, awesome packaging lines and even a cheeky little venture through the HQ offices. All things that have been mysterious to the general public and rarely seen.....until now! Tours should only be available as follows: Monday - Friday at 4pm and 6pm. Saturday & Sunday at 12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm Pricing for our brewery tours are £15 per person and last approx 90mins with 4 amazing interactive tastings along the way.

Adding on the Dogwalk to the AGM the day previously it was great to see where all the good stuff comes from. Mark our guide was excellent, lots of great info, always ready to answer questions, and made the trip a great laugh with other likeminded craft beer drinkers......the bar is a good size with usual bar food available, and Overworks was worth the visit to sample the good stuff coming out of there now!
