During Lockdown3 decided to walk to Merritown from Stour Valley Nature Reserve. An interesting walk that took us away from The River than our previous walks here. It was very quiet although very muddy!!!

Well we’re away we like to visit all the different harbours.. So we thought we’d take a walk on this one.. Beautiful harbour lots of lovely boats to see.. Plenty of benches to sit and relax on to watch the world go by.. Must see if your in Poole..

Recently visited harbour lights fish and chips to find it is under new management Run by a very friendly helpful and welcoming couple Darren & Louise We as a family enjoyed fantastic food served and presented with excellence also very child & baby friendly and very affordable. We will most definitely be eating there again and I highly recommend harbour lights fish & chips to anyone visiting west bay or that live locally

a great place to sit,walk,cycle or run.lots of boats,yachts on this bay.good views of twin sails bridge in the evening.from here you can walk into upton country park.worth a look.

Amazing place short walk from out flat and so peaceful I often walk down here and watch the swans and Canadian geese. Also watch the fishermen catching their fish ???? Gravel track all the way Round so perfect to walk on or for wheel chairs/ prawns etc (but there is a style to get over) unless you’re coming from the fishing car park ❤️
