Tauá Hotel Atibaia s the second hotel by the chain of hotels Tauá, a brazilian brand that work constantly to keep a high level of treatment to his guests. At Atibaia, in the state of São Paulo, the Tauá has a great business center, one of the biggests of Brazil. The complex has a heated pool, and also has an indoor pool (the largest in the region) and offers a great leisure facilities. Located right next to the state capital, São Paulo, the largest city in the country, and next to the Viracopos airport in Campinas, the hotel has a strategic location for business events and for tourists from all over the country.
Disappointing
Reviewed By PhillipBlankenshipI would like to share my experience at this resort. My family decided to go to Taua because it was close to where we live. Our first impression was it is a little expensive but since it is close it will be easier with 2 small children. When we arrived it was as expected, although the check in was a bit slow. There was no English support but when we requested it, they found a staff member who spoke English. We were a little disappointed that the resort didn’t have any type of map or pamphlet to show us/tell us about the park. But the staff member was kind enough to take us to our room and explain the layout to us. The 1st day we didn’t have many issues and we enjoyed most of our day. The next morning “our last day there” when we were at breakfast my wife get a text from the Hotel. It is their VIP service offering us some “Gifts”. My wife is chatting with this sales lady all through breakfast and even when we returned to our room. She offered us a late check out 8PM vs our 12AM as a gift. We just needed to visit the VIP area and talk with them. We were told they have English support. When we visited the VIP area there is no English support. It took about 20 minutes to get this support. When talking with the staff, they wanted us to watch a 50-minute presentation. They didn’t have a scheduled time or plan. They would just “message us when its ready” or come back later it would be available. This is when it started to get worse, the staff told us we couldn’t use the gifts today. Which is a completely different story than the salesperson told us. At this point we have wasted about 2 hours with this “VIP” service. It completely wasted our time, and now it was 11AM just 1 hour till our check out. So we spent about 45 minutes of our day at the pool before check-out. At check out my wife complained a little, the lady asked us to wait a minute then tried to offer us a late check out again but at this point we just wanted to leave. We had already packed everything a walked a long distance with 2 kids to the check out. We just wanted to leave this place; our experience was ruined. It was honestly the worst service. To anyone reading this from United States. I would not recommend this place. It is expensive and the experience is not worth it. There are so many other better places to visit in Brazil. Taua has: • Inconsistent information. • Expensive price. • Staff that wants to waste your time. • Slow check in. • Slow check out. • Dirty Rooms. • Unsafe conditions in the room.

We enjoyed the pool service and drinks! The shows were very nice, my daughter keeps asking us to come back! Our room was spacious and clean!

Every chance we get we go here, because of the food, because it's Club Med, because of the 5-star service (every staff, from the cleaners to the top, greets us), but above all because of the Mini Club. Club Med needs to thank the wonderful staff here, namely, Monique, Cice, Van, Mariana, Votória, Charles, Negresco, Lucas, Matheus, Sérgio, Renato and Sassá. I made sure to write these names. Without each of these GO's Club Med is not Club Med. Our experience is always incredible. These people make our days in Club Med unforgettable. Since my age of 10 (Itaparica included!), I've always had Club Med in my hearts, and it is solely because of people like the ones above. Thank you once again for a wonderful experience. The only problem I report is that after we leave Club Med we spend a good week being depressed. You should invest in psychiatrists! Merci!
