Have just returned from a night at Tapaz Ristorante. All I can say is what an unexpected night.I thought I would be at a table all night enjoying the company of my friends and good food.What we experienced was fantastic food, fantastic service and an amazing atmosphere! Did not expect live music and to be dancing my feet off to a wide range of enjoyable music. 2nd visit. Stumbled upon accidentally two weeks ago. Had to revisit. The menu is vast, so much choice. Proper home cooked quality Cuban cooking. Bring an empty belly !!! Would highly recommend. Great location. Fantastic host, Karin - accommodating, welcoming and attentive. Canât wait for our next lunch meeting.

We came midweek, the tables are very small so we sat at a bigger one to fit our dishes.The tapas dishes are large portions and are tasty however I was disappointed that the tomato & onion I ordered came as large pieces of tomato and onion rather than all chopped up, I appreciate this must be the style & done deliberately but it's not my kind of salad. My friends artichoke salad looked good. We both enjoyed the garlic bread & homemade meatballs.We ordered 4 dishes each yet we had 2 at a time which we didn't mind however some people may not like that as you might have wanted your salad with something coming after? They should discuss this with you to see if you mind. The male serving us could barely speak any English which made communication about small things difficult, he was pleasant enough so no fault of his but not once did I see any other waiter or manager, perhaps because it was a quiet weekday only 1 person on the main room area but I felt it wasn't enough.Price was very reasonable.I would recommend on the whole but just be wary it is small & cosy environment.
