We are moving to this quaint little village and decided to have lunch here, from the advice of our real estate agent. The atmosphere was warm & friendly. This is the type of place everyone knows each other and hugs them when they arrive. They had 2 menu's - one for the specials of the day, and the the other menu about 10 pages long with every thing you might want. It does have a very nice pizza oven with a very friendly man making the pizza, which looked delicious- I will try the pizza the next time.I ordered from the menu of the day, and a spicy tomato based penne pasta, and grilled sausages, boiled potatoes with a bit of parsley. Then for dessert one of the best tiramisù I have ever eaten. Some lovely house red wine, coffee and grappa. My husband (who is Italian) had the same. Our cost was â¬10 each (lunch specials) including wine, water and coffee â¬6 each for the dessert, and â¬6 grappaExcellence price for a long lunch, and a warm friendly place. I will be back â¤ï¸

it is worth the nightly trip from Milan to have a very good traditional dinner with a touch of fantasy, outstanding ingredients and very nice dehors in hot seasons...tables under a beautiful vine.I guess you should avoid being there Friday or Saturday night to have more attention, but that's obvious.

I was in this Cascina with a friends for a sunday lunch.Well, everything was how I've expected, a great and suggestive location, friendly ambient and absolutely good food. of course if you're going to a place like that you can't expect to find a service and the food typical of starred restaurant. The price was ok.
