Sutra is housed inside Rossitta Woodcastle, which is a heritage homestay property with romantic and quaint ambience. The restaurant is mostly open-air and served by most professional staff. They are a specialist in Mexican food. Try their fajitas, cheesy nachos, burritos. Each one superceded the other in terms of quality and quantity. As for Indian menu, they prepare homely dishes like oven fresh chapati, mixed veg, yellow dal. I bet you won't feel like eating in a restaurant.Last but not the least, since we were homestay guests, we're served with complimentary breakfast; and that was the best kerala appam with veg stew we had in the entire trip. And not just that, while we did early check-out they packed us sumptuous continental breakfast too.Staying at Rossitta woodcastle and eating at Sutra is strongly recommended.

Had an excellent vegetarian and non vegetarian meals. The fish curry was very tasty. Very limited side dishes unlike other restaurants. However this places charges exorbitant rate for the fish fry - Rs.650/- for Karimeen and Rs.450/- for Neiymeen. Not worth. Found all people who had enquired about their famous Karimeen Pollichatthu dish shying away from ordering it. Very crowded during lunch hour. The lunch served however was very tasty. Would recommend and if you are not bothered about paying unreasonable price for a fish fry , go ahead and tryit.
