We stopped and had a late lunch outdoors at the White Wolf. Breathtaking scenery, beautiful weather, great service. And the food! The food shows the cross-country heritage of a place that might be equal parts Italy, Germany and Austria. My grigliata mista was quite good, but the absolute hit of the meal was the polenta con formaggio & fughi. Grilled perfectly, with the tiniest bit of crust, there was just the right mix of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth lusciousness in every single bite. In our family, we tend to share a few bites of everyone's meal, but today it was practically a showdown as to who would get the most of this wonderful delight! Oh, and did I mention the scenery? Wow. We loved our stop at the Wellness Hotel!

Located right by the ski school you are going to visit this place at least once. It is furiously busy so drinks can take a while but it doesnât grate. The waiters really beaver away and deserve a pat on back. Food is good and the puddings especially so. Of course it tends to be burgers and Wiener schnitzel but accompanied by excellent chips it keeps everybody happy.
