The best Thai food Iâve eaten since I last ate in Thailand itself 100%. All starters, mains and dessert were amazing. The staff are friendly and the service is fast too. Great choice of drinks and a nice garden area in the back of the pub. Canât really fault it in any way! Thanks Prince Albert for a quality experience.Dear Richard, Thank you for the review. A1 Cafe is such a pleasant experience, one that I've enjoyed on several occasions (often after an all nighter) The warm welcome of the cheerful, hard working lady is always received. A complimentary tea or coffee is made to your liking and once you're sat down at your table (all furniture is kept immaculate) you can enjoy the sounds of your dish being cooked to order in the little kitchen in the corner. The menu choice of both traditional English and Thai cuisine is brilliant. The fry ups and noodles are especially delicious. I honestly cannot recommend this delightful caf enough.

I understand its under new ownership, haven't been in here for ages. The pub is very clean and tidy and looks great inside. I only came in for a couple of pints and a read of the newspaper.
