I returned to this small welcoming comfortable cafe in the heart of this little historic town on Good Friday.I had the large Scottish cooked breakfast with tea and top up for a more than reasonable £6.99.This included Link and Lorne sausage, fried egg, tomatoes, potato scone, beans, mushrooms, black pudding/haggis, bacon and four buttered toast. The owner was as pleasant and chatty as ever. The menu is always very fresh, remarkably extensive and based on local produce eg the fish and chips are a delight.Bus,train,PO,Library,Museum, free parking, and Historical buildings are nearby.Thank you for your lovely review⭐️

We went for brunch with friends and loved this place. The service was 1st class - I actually thought the owner knew my friends because she was so lovely but it was the first time they'd been! Plenty of seating on the front by the water, in the back courtyard or inside. Delicious food, we had a full scottish breakfast with haggis and amazing scones which are all baked in-house. Can't wait to visit our friends again so we can return.
