The good impression started here: Loved that we could park in a designated place and that there was an outside place to sit .on a glorious sunny early evening. Being far too early, I saw the chef, proudly scrubbing and cleaning even the outside area of his kitchen, who cheerily greeted me. Good impression before even entering! The staff were extremely welcoming into a warm, homely atmosphere, and explained the menu which led to us exploring something different to eat..We were really glad that, as recommended, we shared a number of dishes and therefore got a good range of flavours. Because I don't eat food as hot as my friend, I appreciated that not all meals were spicy, but that I could dip into some awesome sauces. That chef sure knows how to cook, from a seemingly simple starter to the soft crab meal across to a traditional cake for desert which was utterly delicious. It's a mix of feeling that you're eating the food in an authentic Mexican home and yet also having a gastronomical adventure. Our first visit and highly recommend the specials menu for the unusual dishes, although food from the 'usual' menu was also extremely tasty. Not a nice ending maybe but shouldn't we all start commenting on the washrooms too? The ladies' was spotless! The only regret I have is that I didn't tip the staff enough. The normal tip didn't cover what they did for us. Well, we just must go back!

We went for breakfast and left after 30 mins of waiting to be served. It is a small place so it would be difficult to ignore two people sat at a table however, the waitress managed to ignore us very well. Can't comment on the food because we didnt have all day to wait around even to be asked if we would like a drink.Probably the rudest, unprofessional (lack of) service I have ever come across.

Pinche Pinche is a relaxed and fun restaurant. All our food is freshly prepared using authentic Mexican ingredients. With our inspiration drawn from the street food that is eaten every day throughout Mexico, this is food that is designed to be eaten with
We visited in late August to grab a bite to eat before going to a gig at the Seven Arts Centre - just a short walk down the road from the restaurant. The place is obviously popular as it was already buzzing at 6:00pm on a Friday night. I'm glad we'd had the foresight to book - others turning up on spec were being turned way or had a long wait! It's a shame we were in a bit of a hurry to get to the concert venue because the food certainly demanded more attention! We nibbled on some fabulous tortilla chips with a pleasantly fiery roast tomato salsa while we waited (not too long at all) for mains to arrive. My wife had a very substantial marinated chicken burrito and I had a "Surf'n'Turf" platter - a fantastic combination of mini beef burrito with a fish dish, a prawn tart, black beans, guacamole and a zingy salad. The food was simply delicious - fresh and lively, full of interesting flavours. We washed the meal down with a very agreeable glass of Rosé and an iced can of IPA beer. Perfect. We'll be back!
