Top 3 Mexican food in Bucharest, Romania

December 8, 2019 Osvaldo Hartline

Reviews on Mexican food in Bucharest, Romania. Vlad the Impaler stated his claim to Bucharest in 1459. His citadel on the Dambovita was the first of flotillas of palaces, many of which still stand. Four subway lines and a modern bus network transport visitors and commuters. Nicknamed "Little Paris", Bucharest's elegant early 20th-century architecture shows French influences. Don't miss the Village Museum, Romanian Athenaeum and the Peasant Museum. You can't miss the Palace of Parliament, the second-largest building in the world (after the Pentagon).

Being a California native I will start by saying this is easily in the top five Mexican meals I have ever eaten. The duck fajitas were fantastic. The asado burritos were amazing. The margaritas were OMG awesome sauce. I haven't gotten the desserts but will tell you now..... amazing.Dear Brian G,Thank you for your positive feedback and for taking the time to review our restaurant. El Torito

While on our fabulous Historic Walking Tour of Bucharest with our guide Alina, we walked past El Torito, Restaurante Mexicano. As we are native Texans, we attempt to find a plate of nachos in every country we visit. Sometimes successful, sometimes not. We headed back for dinner, happy to pass through chaotic Old Town. Located on a quiet street but not difficult to find, this courtyard restaurant is a must if you like Mexican food. The nachos were top notch as was our wine, beer and service. Our excellent server, Gabriela, not only took care of us but even posed for a picture, complete with sombreros!
