We serve traditional dishes with a twist and based on local produce. The signature dish is Moules Frites served with homemade fries and aioli.

We came (early) with three kids without reservation and were shown to a nice table with a view on the playground outside - brilliant that parents could sit inside while children burn some energy outside. Setting is beautiful at the harbor and restaurant is held in maritime style.Waiter was a young girl who was neither knowledgeable about what she serves nor organized, but she made more than up for that by being friendly, natural and fast.Menu is short but sufficient. Dishes are not the most imaginative as the same vegetables accompany the steak as the fish.... However, everything super-fresh and made from the ground.It also shows respect when the "small" clients are proposed the same as their parents. Kids menu is simply half portion of whatever is on the normal menu!! Very well done! I have been to Veno and Veno kro many times before and in the late 80s and 90s it was an exceptional restaurant in that particular area of Denmark. We had a couple of visits where the food was not particularly good so we didn't go back for quite a while.During last weeks visit to Denmark I decided to give it another try and brought some family and friends with me. This time is was really good.The service was lovely and unobtrusive. The restaurant decor looked a little tired but solid and clean BUT THE FISH.... was superb. We had the whole Plaice. It was so gorgeous and fresh that it reminded me of when I was a child and my grandfather brought the fresh catch from his own boat.Highly recommended! Not many places and restaurants can boast a ferry ride, a gorgeous flord view, beautiful fish and an icecream on the docks.

Visited it with my husband. Pizza was tasty and it was prepared very fast. They even divided 1 pizza for 2 people so we didnât bother cutting it. They also have MobilePay. I recommend this place as fast food, besides there is a nice view
