I have been to Veno and Veno kro many times before and in the late 80s and 90s it was an exceptional restaurant in that particular area of Denmark. We had a couple of visits where the food was not particularly good so we didn't go back for quite a while.
During last weeks visit to Denmark I decided to give it another try and brought some family and friends with me. This time is was really good.
The service was lovely and unobtrusive. The restaurant decor looked a little tired but solid and clean BUT THE FISH.... was superb. We had the whole Plaice. It was so gorgeous and fresh that it reminded me of when I was a child and my grandfather brought the fresh catch from his own boat.
Highly recommended! Not many places and restaurants can boast a ferry ride, a gorgeous flord view, beautiful fish and an icecream on the docks.

We were also here 2 years ago, and found the hotel a perfect place to stay. It is situated at a fantastic place just opposite Jegindø in Limfjorden, looking out of the window from the restaurant. There food is great, especially there fish buffet.Can only be recommended.

This is an average good café for lunch, or when out shopping. I have been here many times with friends and colleagues. Good food, reasonably priced and a nice place to chill!

I went there with some friends and we ordered a pindebøf, which should be a typical dish of the place. Everything was good.

Unless you like heated frozen food served by people who don't care don't go.
This could be good - let's face it there is not much competition- but the owner doesn't care . He sits there stuffing his face and is oblivious to the plight of his punters.

Small - but delicious menu.
Local meats, vegetables and seafood - well cooked and elegantly presented.
Staff that actually seem to enjoy what they are doing - well worth a visit.
If you have been before with the previous owner - please do try it again - this now a completely new experience.

Typical "lets cater to the masses place" that thinks more is good. Its a buffet with reheated cafeteria food A bizare mix of "Danishfied chinese food" and sushi, with french fries thrown in for good measure.

Var til Drinks Night’ med et par veninder en lørdag aften. Virkelig flot restaurant, som er smagfuldt indrettet. Smuk udsigt over Limfjorden. Betjeningen kan i den grad blive bedre. Vi sad i mindst 30 min. og ventede på at blive betjent. Vi måtte selv henvende os, og vi blev ikke kontaktet igen med henblik på evt yderligere køb. Ærgerligt at de ikke havde et større overblik over restaurantens gæster. Drinks var dog virkelige gode.
