right at zocalo so have a great view of santa prisca, and very good taco & enchilada variations, some unusual (with mangoes) but still great. 80s gringo music. service can be a bit slow when ordering certain types of food, but otherwise okay.

The owner, Vivi, is a sweetheart and really cares about creating a great experience, providing tasty food, and a wonderful ambiance situated perfectly between the Zocalo and Ex Convento. Perfect place to watch the start of the many parades and festivals that march through the streets! Live music is an extra special PLUS! Best wings in town! Breakfast too and great promos!

Chipotle Balbas is really two places. First, there is a cosy inside bar with some small balconies overlooking the street. Second, on the other side of the building, there is a large terrace with amazing views down the valley (you can´t see the terrace from the street so it is a nice surprise). Good drink selection and hearty food. Popular with both locals and international travelers (the walls are covered with graffiti and affirmations from the backpacker set).
