It is located in the municipality of La Unión de Isidoro Montes de Oca and has a population of about 593 people (2005 census). Hammocks and palm trees are in most yards, chickens roam the streets and loud nightlife is limited to very few weekly events, making for quiet nights. What great flavors and consciousness too. Metal straw in the margarita, fish tacos and salads to die for, real cacao chocolate cookie, great service. This place is a hidden gem. We've been to half a dozen restaurants in Troncones and like them all, but honestly this one has some of the highest quality for health and flavor and good prices too. Oh yah, coffee too.

The best cafe/sports bar in Troncones. Christian the owner is a master bread baker. The food is terrific ranging from bar snacks to full service.

We've been here many times and the food is always consistent! The fruit and yogurt plate is a good size and the eggs are tasty. We've also eaten their sandwiches and enjoyed them. Upstairs for dinner is good, but small menu. Great for watching sports!

We went here for dinner many times during our stay in Troncones. They make a great margie and have good red wines to accompany dinner. We had delicious salads and perfect grilled meats and the desserts were excellent as well. We tried a few different cuts of meat and each time it was perfectly cooked. The service is friendly and efficient. I think the owners are working there. The only suggestion I have would be to have some music.
