We visited Conwy during October half term and googled a few restaurants. We took advice from Trip and booked a table for 21:30 Saturday night. Not disappointed, friendly staff from Bradford area; travelling this each day is probably why they don't dine really late. Able to take your own drinks and well priced quality food, didn't feel rushed and openly chatted to the staff. We were certainly not disappointed. If we resided locally, this would be a firm favourite to visit.

Paid £10.95 for a king prawn dish, was disappointing as it wasnât the traditional big king prawns, they were more like Chinese restaurant king prawns. The lamb jalfrezi was sweet and there werenât many potatoes in the Bombay potato. The taste of the dishes were less than average, nothing to write home about. Definitely wouldnât return.

Fine Indian Dining showcasing a stunning view atop a mountain in Penmaenmawr, Conwy.
We booked to visit this restaurant due to recommendations given by locals and were curious as to the quality of a curry in the back of beyond. The building itself is nothing to write home about, the restaurant being above a gym. The owner told us they had been open three years, originally coming from India. The restaurant itself can seat about 30 people. It is framed by windows giving a perfect view of the welsh hills and coast. Now for the food: the buffet is NOT a good deal for vegetarians as the curries presented are mostly chicken and beef, which was a disappointment, On ordering there we were told they had no Paneer for the tikka starter (?! probably the most novel thing in the starters) and that they had run out of fish. One of us selected the buffet deal (15 pounds on Sunday only), with the rest opting for a prawn Jalfrezi with mushroom rice and a new mild dish with plain rice. Although the mushroom rice was rather greasy (fried), the curries themselves tasted very goodand came with heat where requested. We were given the most expensive option in replacement for the fish not for the same price, where really they should have accomodated as it was the kitchen that was not fully prepared. Also the bill was 10% too high, but we let that slide but please check the hand written bill at the end. In all it came to 55 pounds for three people, including drinks. If you are in the area and fancy Indian this would be a place to head for.
