Cascate dell'Acqua Fraggia

Not far from Chiavenna these waterfalls are located. We have seen some waterfalls during our roundtrip but this was one of the most impressive ones. It is high and has two main falls. The haze reaches far. It is easy to access the bottom and you can even enter the water directly after the falls. It is a kind of natural pool. The downstream below is a very popular location to swim and there are lots of people which takes away a little bit of the magic of the falls. Parking in the area is possible but only for limit time and on a sunny day it can be hard to find a spot.
