Korean Folk Village

Reviewed By x96lee26 - Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Had the privilege to cost the Korean Folks Village and witness how the Joseon live during their dynasty. They are simply amazing and amusing. Truly blessed to understand how they live and the older days. The Korean Folk Village located on a large 245 acres of land with backdrop of mountains and a river running through it. Korean Folk Village introduces traditional culture from the late Joseon period to both local and international visitors through cultural classes experience, shaman faith, seasonal customs and others. The Korean Folk Village has been a popular film site for many well-known historical dramas including My Love from the Star (2013), Moon Embracing the Sun (2012), Dong Yi (2010), Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010), The Great Queen Seondeok (2009) and of course, the hugely popular Dae Jang Geum (2003).

Everland was Korea’s first family park and is still one of its most popular. There is a safari area featuring lions, tigers and bears, a water park, and some of the country’s most famed, lush gardens.

Seoul Children's Grand Park

This park has it all: rides, a zoo, a park, and a concert hall. Make sure to check out the most popular event: a dazzling water-fountain music and lights show.

Reviewed By yipjcs88 - Hong Kong, China

The park is attractive to both adults and children in autumn (late Oct./ early Nov.). The autumn colours are fascinating but they vary from year to year depending on weather, etc. This year, the summer is long and dry but the ginkgo and maple trees still show off their beautiful autumn colours, although not as good as those of last year. The park has a good zoo, apart from an amusement park, etc. I like to go there (and to the Seoul Grand Park) when I visit Seoul, as both are great places for photography and leisure.

The Ma Park

Reviewed By karamingram - Chongqing, China

Friendly staff: worked hard to communicate with me in English as best they could. We took the B course for horse riding. The leader allowed me to guide my own horse as I am an experienced rider, which I appreciated. The leader guided my daughter's horse. Horses were well trained with kind temperaments. The horse show was well rehearsed and the riders and horses were skilled. My daughter is 8, and she loved the show. After the show, we fed carrots to the horses for 1000KWN a piece. I would recommend buying a horse riding ticket as soon as you arrive because there was a 95 minute wait for use to ride.

Skyline Luge Tongyeong

One of the world’s most thrilling adventure activities has arrived in Tongyeong! The Skyline Luge is a unique wheeled-gravity ride that provides riders full control over their descent on a purpose built 1.5km Luge track. The only attraction of its kind in South Korea, Skyline Luge offers a fun-filled outdoor experience that is suitable for riders of all ages and experience levels.

Reviewed By Travelove58

This Sky Luge is much better than others in their network countries. First, one chooses a helmet that fits you. And then takes a Skylift chair all the way uphill to the top ( starting point of Luge circuit). From there, you ride the Sky Luge downhill all the way to the bottom. One ticket gives you 3 rides. It was so much fun especially when the weather was chilly. As usual, your pictures will be taken by cameras along the circuit & they will try to sell you the photos. There is a souvenir shop at the finish area. Usually the queue is very long even on a weekday but we were lucky. Somehow, today there were hardly any people.
