Really enjoyable day for family with a 3 and 7 year old, plus grandad. Excellent value for money as pretty much everything is included in the ticket price (except coin operated quad bikes and remote controlled boats). Enjoyed completing the huge maze and the smaller ones. My favourite thing (mum) was the House of even more Cornfusion!!! Fantastic!!! Children loved the giant corn snake slides and we all loved the tractor ride!! Really friendly and welcoming staff...Jonny on tractor ride, Ewan on slide (especially for letting kids have a few 'last goes' on them at closing time!), Julie on Angry Crows, ladies and Josh doing the pig racing and KerNoels House party and other staff who stopped and chatted throughout the day. Seemed like they all genuinely loved being there!! Brilliant day out for all. Wish we had been here before but have always been put off slightly by the ticket price. However, considering this was a full day 10am while 6.30pm and it is soooooo much more than just a maze we will definitely be back!

From entering the building to leaving the staff are always there to great you with a smile and assist if needed. The classes are amazing too. I use the pool with my toddler who loves the pool. All in all I glad I live locally to use this amazing centre regularly.

Flamingo Land Resort

We stayed here for a week as a group of six ( four adults, one being disabled, one 16 year old and a four year) we were in number 14 caravan on Hawthorne Way, this came with a ramp and was situated very very close to the reception, shop, laundrette and the entrance to the main big rides so was perfect for us, also being so close we did get free wifi which I'm aware other caravans further away did not. Check-in was easy and friendly but don't listen to them when they say they will phone to let you know that your accommodation is ready, we didn't get a call, but when we turned up at just before 4pm the keys were ready. The caravan was clean and tidy with 3 bedrooms, one bathroom and an extra toilet (both are very small), you do have to take your own towels and tea-towels as these are not included, the only thing you do get is a small pack with a bin liner, sponge, cloth and a very small wash liquid in. There was no waste bins so we had bags hanging from handles, there are only the main large lights, no lamps that can be turned on at night. For holiday guests there are 3 big rides open at 9am and 3 small ones for the little ones, this was great as we had no queuing at all for the rides that usually have an hour queue and at 10am we went to the other ones that get large queues so again beating the day trippers and late rises. The zoo was open from around 8.30am and was lovely to walk around before it got busy. The on site shop was well stocked and a very reasonable price for most things, the laundrette was a little pricy at £4.50 a wash, £4.00 a dry and £2.00 for wash powder if you are daft like me and didn't buy it from the shop first! The whole place is clean and tidy and staff helpful and friendly. The sea lion show and bird show are fantastic and well worth a visit. We did go on The Walk On The Wild Side tour which cost £20 per person, this was fantastic, we were taken on a tour of the zoo after hours and were able to stroke rhino and feed giraffe as well as learn a lot about the other animals. The tour took around 2hours 15mins. Make sure you check with the start times if you pre book as it did start an hour later that advertised which was 5pm. The guide was very informative and funny. The downside to this holiday was that apart from The Coach House there is no where really for healthy food, chips, chips and more chips with fish, burger or pizza! We did eat out every day so have given you a little idea below: 1) The Diner: 3 burgers, Hotdog and Nacho's cost around £40.00 without drinks these were large and very nice. 2) The Coach House: (my favourite) Serves pub food, mixed grills, lasagne, steak pies, kids meals and cost around £40-£50 for 3 adults and 1 child not including drinks. 3) Metropolis: Taco's, Caesar Salad, Ribs and 2 fries cost around £35.00 without drinks, we did not really enjoy this meal. 4) Muddy Puddles Cafe: cost around £25.00 for a childs picnic, 3 sandwiches, 4 crisps and 3 drinks. 5) Pizza Pie Shop: we had this delivered to our caravan, 3 pizza's, garlic bread, 2x kebabs and 3 fries cost around £45.00 and was not very nice at all, it was the worst kebab I'd ever had. 6) Fabrizio's Pizza: All you can eat salad, pizza and two sorts of pasta for £13.99 adult and £7.99 child (I had an issue with the price for my 4 year old as she does not eat much, I did ask if she could just have a little of ours and I would buy a drink but they did say no. I ended up paying £7.99 for half a slice of pizza, cucumber and a few sips of pop!) The food was very nice and worth the adult price. Apart from the Party In The Park which was fantastic we did not go to the entertainment as we were all shattered by the end of the day but there is entertainment every day as well as prize bingo. The free swimming baths in the leisure complex could do with a revamp but was adequate for our needs as we only used it once. The is also a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, golf course as well as health and beauty treatments which we did not use. This was our first ever visit to Flamingo Land and we didn't know really what to expect but all in all we had a fantastic holiday with loads to do and see, it wasn't just about the rides of which there was a good mixture for all ages. We all felt rather sad leaving and we will definitely go back again in the future.

Took my son here on his 13th Birthday for his treat whilst we were away on holiday. He had read both good and bad reviews so were didnt know what to expect..The place was immaculately clean. The changing rooms are lovely, warm and plenty of them. There are quite a few hairdryers too.The slides are amazing, i did all 4 but wasnt keen on the black run as its in total darness with only a couple of tiny lights. The 2-4 man slide "snow storm" is fab but hard to carry the massive ring if theres only 2 of you..The other 2 are brill too.The outside pools are 35'c you can see the steam coming off them. The sea view is amazing..The keyless fob for your lockers and canteen is a brilliant idea. Not having to worry about £ whilst in the pool is great.Theres a £50 credit to adults and £20 to kids fobs which you pay when you leaving.. My son won 1 of the Easter egg prizes... A free Family pass so we will definately return next time we in the area..Its worth a visit..
