We were staying at grange park farm up the road and decided to have a go at paddle boarding, easy to book on line, there was option to have an instructor (or not) and seeing as we hadn’t tried it before decided that would be best! Easy parking and cafe/ restaurant on site(which we didn’t use). Met Richard the instructor who had boards ready for us, very friendly and easy to talk to, gave very clear instructions and showed us what to do on the water before we got in, great fun although it was a very windy day so we were blown all over the lake! Felt sorry for Richard trying to round us up! Great fun and felt safe with flotation device worn, would imagine anyone of any age would enjoy, not just the paddle boarding but the array of fun things to do there, lovely location, thanks Richard for your patience and for not laughing when I fell in !!

Sundown Adventureland

“Come on kids, there’s lots to see and do. Your adventure is just beginning!” Bet you’ve never heard a goat yodel or a potato talk, but you will at Sundown Market, and with your help all the animals in the musical pet shop will join in the chorus of their very own song. Explore the Rodeo Corral Indoor Play Area and climb aboard the Rocky Mountain Railroad, but hold onto your hats folks, those pesky bandits are popping up everywhere. Be careful not to wake the dragon as you enter the Lollipoppet castle with all its smells of candy. Then its on to the Tractor Ride for a trip around the countryside before talking to the animals on our Animated Farm. Grab those bows and arrows and climb aboard the Robin Hood Ride to join Robin and his merry men as they travel through Sherwood Forest. Then its onto Crash Landings – our fantastic four storey indoor play area and cafe, climb and explore the jungle where you may get a surprise from a cheeky monkey or a slippery snake. Run, swing and play in our bright and colourful Angry Birds Activity Park. Take a spin on the Okie Yolkie ride and bounce along on the Giddy Piggies ride. Don’t Forget to sing and dance along with the Monkeys at Monkey Mischief. Ahoy there! Time to take to the Jolly Pirate Ride – but you better watch out, for who knows were those wicked pirates are lying in wait with a surprise or two! Don’t forget your buckets and spades – you’ll need them in Captain Sandy’s Play Cove. But no one can be scared of the delightful little friends whose lovely scenes lead us through the seasons on to the magical Sleigh Ride through Santa’s traditional winter wonderland, hey, what's that reindeer doing in bed?! when your ready for a break, take the kids for a snack or a treat in one of our cafes or shops where there are lots of goodies available. Also don’t forget, we’re open at Christmas, so come along and ride our fantastic night before Christmas ride before visiting Santa in his Lovely home and receive a free gift for all children aged 2 to 10 years .

This really is a brilliant theme park for young children, with lots of fun, stimulating, exciting things to do, from adventure playgrounds to mini-houses to explore, to rides, to themed areas with interactive zones. We went a little out of season and during the Covid restrictions, so not everything was open but what was available was great for our son (age 4), and the Park as a whole has plenty to suit all ages from toddlers to probably about age 7-8. He came away very tired after over 5 hours, still wanting to play some more. The Park's management has clearly thought a lot about how to make the place both enjoyable and as safe as possible during Covid times, and I think has done both. Visitors are temperature scanned on entry, rides are cleaned between uses, hand sanitiser is widely available throughout and so on. That level of thought exists throughout the whole experience though, including the rides and attractions. We will certainly be back.

Wistow Maze

TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19. Winner of Leicestershire's "Best Visitor Attraction" A giant 8 acre maize maze with a fun quiz trail hidden amongst 3 miles of paths, with high level bridges and viewing towers giving stunning panoramic views. Each year the Wistow Maze has a new design and theme. Includes an Activity Funyard full of mini mazes and games for all the family. Situated opposite is the Wistow Rural Centre with a cafe/bistro, garden centre, model village, art gallery and numerous shops. A great day out for all ages. Open July - September.

Ten out of ten and many gold stars. The maize maze is a gigantic masterpiece of field art (this year in the form of an astronaut). The map to follow is 100% accurate and if you get lost there are frequent numbered points that allow you to relocate. There is an accompanying themed quiz. The entrance fee is very good value. There is a fantastic playground with highly original activities adjacent. The maze and the activities are just across the road from a great complex of shops, including a garden centre with an excellent model village, a deli, a cafe, craft shops and loos. Brilliant day out with the grandchildren - fun, active and educational. Plenty of parking. Wear wellies if recent rain but aim to go on a dry day. Obviously only open during the latter stages of the maize-growing season. A perfect example of agricultural diversification - income from visitors and then from harvesting the crop. Genius!

Fabulous place, a real joy and absolute asset to the area. We’ve been open water swimming for a while here and each time it’s perfect - we always leave happy, fulfilled and grateful for the facility. Staff are all lovely and it’s been a pleasure to watch how it’s grown since opening. We’ve also done the inflatable which is loads of fun and started wakeboarding which is probably one of the best things we’ve done (and we’re a group of 40 something, not so fit ladies) ???? so if we can do it!! Alex the instructor is brilliant - is attentive and gives excellent training with great depth of knowledge and reassurance, which makes you feel safe and confident. Seriously, if you’ve been thinking about doing something different or learning something new, I would highly recommend !! We booked the beginners wakeboarding session which is excellent value and we’re looking forward to continuing this alongside our swims. Highly recommended venue, staff and activities.

Fantasy Island

Located in Ingoldmells on the sunny east coast of Lincolnshire close to Skegness and a stone’s throw from the beach, Fantasy Island is the ultimate destination for all the family. Our extreme rides and coasters will test thrillseekers’ nerves, while those looking for something more family-friendly will have plenty of rides, arcades and other attractions to choose from. There are lots for the little ones to enjoy too, including rides, a soft play area and live character shows during the high season. What’s more, Fantasy Island is home to Europe’s largest seven-day market, where you can find everything from gifts, toys and gardening tools to clothing, accessories and electrical. And, when you need to recharge your batteries, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the many restaurants, cafes and bars across the park to take a well-needed break! Don’t forget that our ride-all-day wristbands offer real value and more savings than ever before, or if you’d prefer to pay-as-you-ride, you can do!

Post Covid. U need to book online before you visit due to limited numbers in the park. Theres 3 types of wristbands Discovery is £25 per Adult which includes all rides, Adventure wristband for juniors over a certain height and explorer wristband for smaller ones. I believe u have to pay £5 for non rider wristband too. I'm not sure u can just turn up and pay at the gate, but I wouldn't take the chance incase its online sessions only or avoid disappointment on maximum capacity. Easily accessible from Skegness via no1 bus which drops u right outside the entrance or no3 which is just past sea road the junction it's on. Temperatures checked and facemasks to b worn on some rides and indoors. Sanitizer stations at all ride entrances and u just scan ur wristband before entering each ride. One way walking system in place and only a few rides out of use due to moving things around slightly. Ride unlimited all day from 11am to 6pm Certainly got our moneys worth!! Queues not that long. Free indoor market there too. Plenty of parking. Leave the log flume to last unless u dont mind getting wet. Odyssey and ice mountain r a real chuck about so unless u can handle feeling dizzy stay well clear! Plenty of places to eat/drink and rest. Thrill seekers paradise. I'd visit again.

Twinlakes is a brilliant place for a family day out. I visited with 3 children aged 13, 11 and nearly 6 and each found something that they loved! The eldest enjoyed the rides, especially Excalibur, as she likes a bit of adrenaline. The youngest loved the indoor play areas, which are perfect for escaping from both rain and the midday heat. Middlest loves animals so she really enjoys the farm part. On this occasion we didn’t get to handle anything but at Easter they all held baby rabbits. I just love seeing them all happy - a great day out!

We have a wide range of rides and attractions from the Western World and Pirates Play area to the log flume and Drop Tower. Don't Forget our popular indoor attraction Blast Arena, open all year long. Set on a stunning hillside there's extra adventure, added adrenaline and fabulous views! We are dedicated to providing families with real value and have over 35 years of experience in creating the perfect day out.

We have visited a couple of times and we really enjoy coming here the rides and attraction are good too it's is set in a lovely location on the hill side it's a shame that you got rid of your big rollercoaster the Switchback rollercoaster a couple of year's ago as it was a nice ride maybe the next ride should be a rollercoaster if you have room for one also some more music round the park would be nice as it can be a bit quiet in some area's of the park especially on Gully's Pirate Adventure Smugglers Wharf ride and the Log Roller Coaster. If I was you don't let the other reviews put you off yes it's on a hill not great if you have a pushchair of wheelchair I recommend you visit the other Gulliver's parks as they are not on the hill as they are good to and yes the face mask are required to were on ride and if you don't like the rules then don't go it's clear on the website too definitely recommend you go too
