We will pick you up and show you that between two of Wales largest cities lies a strip of the Welsh coast that is both beautiful and refreshingly unspoilt. Sitting next to the ocean, this impressive stretch of coastline encompasses wildlife rich river estuaries, sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, rock pools and sweeping ocean views. This 6.5 mile walk along coastal paths starts near the pretty village of Ogmore-by-sea. We will then proceed parallel to the sea along sandy beaches and clifftop paths with sweeping views across the sea to the English coast, a dream for photographers and lovers of ocean views. You will then stop for a rest at the picturesque Dunraven Bay, a beautiful cove of sand and shale with numerous rock pools where you can enjoy some delicious Welsh snacks and even paddle in the sea. **Some nationalities may refer to this activity as a hike rather than walk**.

There are undoubtedly few rivers in the UK that come anywhere near to the beauty of the River Wye. The fifth longest river in the UK rises in the remote uplands of Mid Wales and flows through often mind-blowing scenery to the Severn Estuary. Let me pick you up and transport you to this tranquil and iconic valley. This relatively easy 3.5 mile walk passes through ancient woodland and along the banks of the majestic and serene river. You will enter the almost 900 year old Tintern Abbey, one of the most impressive ancient monuments in Wales, attracting visitors from all over the world. The walk passes through the picturesque village of Tintern where you will have the opportunity to rest on the banks of the river and watch its beauty pass by, whilst enjoying some tasty Welsh snacks.

We spotted a few signs for the distillery whilst we were in the area so thought we would check it out. We had a great time talking to Patrick and bought a couple of bottles of gin whilst we were there. Would definitely go back and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Follow the forgotten but, in places, ancient pathways which lie behind Llandaff Cathedral on this self-guided audio tour. Isolated, atmospheric, and away from modern urban Cardiff, they are filled with mystery, atmosphere, legend and ghost stories. In places, these paths were ancient Celtic trade routes or medieval roadways. They are filled with strange and sometimes spine chilling tales of ghosts and phantoms, still being witnessed and reported in modern times. In places, the atmosphere can become strange, overwhelming, even sinister, especially in the dark seclusion of the night! This tour follows a circular route taking you along a mysterious and atmospheric wooded lane, the scene of many ghostly experiences, before following the riverbank where more ghostly encounters and legends are told. The route turns back towards the Cathedral for more tales, and culminates in the old abandoned and overgrown woodland graveyard, with its intense atmosphere and ghostly tales.

Let us pick you up and take you to this place of immense beauty. This 5.5 mile walk along uneven paths takes you along riverside scenery, with steep sided wooded valleys and four breath-taking waterfalls. In a National Park renowned for its sweeping, barren, mountain scenery, high peak lovers are in danger of missing out on this hidden gem. This pocket of dramatic limestone scenery where 4 stunning waterfalls are within a relatively short walk of each other is a truly unique location like no other in the UK. Because of terrible weather and the recent Coronavirus outbreak I couldn’t go on my South Wales Coast Walk after doing the Pen-y-Fan walk the day before. Even though I was disappointed I wouldn’t be able to explore the beautiful coast, my Guide was very negotiable and gave me a full refund. He was a very nice guy and I highly recommend Walk South Wale tours!

My teenage son is a massive Dr Who fan and we booked the walking and bus tour 4 months ago. He was so looking forward to going but is poorly and unable to go and is absolutely gutted. The company do not offer any refunds or even the chance to re-book another Date which is absolutely terrible customer service. Be careful before you book.
