We have visited this fantastic little (free) museum a few times since Clyne Heritage Society took on its management a few years ago. It's a treasure trove of exhibits and information on the history of Brora and the surrounding area. Absolutely fascinating for adults and children alike. Whether you have a connection with the area or are just passing through, it is well worth a visit. The work that Clyne Heritage Society has done over the last decade to document local history is impressive, as are their plans to develop a disused building to the north end of the village on the A9 as the museum's new home from 2020. This is a community-led group that has clearly achieved great things already and there is much more to come. Those driving through the village need to keep a sharp eye out for the sign near the bridge over the River Brora. The centre is a very short drive off the beaten track of the NC500. A friendly, well-informed welcome - and coffee - awaits.

We had a wonderful experience here, Frazer our tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable and widened our knowledge of the whiskey manufacturing process, the distillery is lovely and the history of the area is amazing, thank you everyone.

We had a beautiful around the coast from John O'Groats to the Castle of Mey & enjoyed a guided tour of the lovely house, then a walkabout in the pretty gardens & animal centre.

Great rainy day activity. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their product. The shop has glassware as well as whisky. It can get busy if tour buses arrive - we were leaving as one arrived.

I took my partner to Aviemore for the weekend as we are both very keen walkers and have never been to the area before we went to the visit scotland icentre and were greeted by Fiona who was very helpful and told us all about some lovley walks around the area she gave us a walking map and helped us plan our walks for the weekend she told us about some lovely eateries in the area we had a fantastic weekend and will be back to visit next year regards Ken and Mary

What a fabulous tourist information office. The staff there (two young ladies) were incredibly helpful and patient assisting us with how to book tickets for Urquhart Castle - as we discovered advance bookings are needed during the COVID-19 crisis.

The Rock Stop is currently open 10am to 4:30pm every day. The Rock Stop is the central visitor hub for the North West Highlands Geopark. The cafe serves hot and cold drinks, hot lunches, cakes and snacks. The giftshop stocks quality arts and crafts from the local area. The Geopark Exhibition is free to enjoy and focuses on the geology and landscape of the North West Highlands. Local Geopark staff are on hand and happy to chat about the area, what to do and where to go. We offer free wifi and a warm welcome to all travellers, including motorcyclists, cyclists, walkers. Dogs prohibited inside (guide dogs excepted).

Excellent place to have a coffee and cake especially the coffee cake which to me is the best in the uk and only made a few yards away. We have visited it for several years and always found it excellent with friendly staff who will stop and have a chat even this year with covid restrictions on they still had time to be friendly, there covid rules were excellent couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend them.
