Chapter House Boutique Hotel

Chapter House Boutique Hotel is one of the most exciting destinations in the Franschhoek town center, located just a few minutes’ walk from the very many wonderful and award-winning restaurants that Franschhoek has to offer. This hotel is soaked in history and is a very significant building in the history of this charming town. Originally built as a Mission House in 1888, and later serving as the village school right up until 1974, this house has chapters filled with stories to tell. Recent renovations have captured many of the original features and restored them to their former glory, and the décor is simply captivating, impressively combining heritage design with local creativity, charm, and color. All rooms have an impressive range of facilities including a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, in-room safe, LED TV, free Wi-fi, and air conditioning. Included in the services offered are a 24-hour concierge, an in-room spa service, a day room, breakfast served until 11 am, an all-day dining menu, and a full-service bar. Chapter House Boutique Hotel is part of The Living Journey Collection and beautifully compliments The Tree House Boutique Hotel in Cape Town, Zest Boutique Hotel in Cape Town, One Marine Drive Boutique Hotel in Hermanus, and River Manor Boutique Hotel in Stellenbosch.

Stunning spot at Kennedys Beach Villa

The location and view for this spot was excellent and being pet friendly makes it a unique getaway for the weekend. Service from James was most attentive....almost too much so. We would like to recommend 2 suggestions, namely that a breakfast deal with Milk on the Beach, be included in the package and that an alternative to paying the balance in cash be found. Carrying cash is a huge risk.

Beautifully peaceful venue with outstanding service

Reviewed By ChantelleLR

We had a company conference at Whispering Pines and it was a really lovely venue. The service from Justin, Israel and the rest of the team was incredible. The rooms are lovely, Room 13 is a beautiful 2 bedroom unit with a fireplace in 1 of the rooms and air-con/heater unit in both. There are tea and coffee making facilities and rusks and biscuits in the room. The food is a really high standard and absolutely delicious, the breakfast spread was great as well - I cannot fault the menu. The venue gardens are tranquil and beautiful for photos, as well as fun team building activities such as a short hike to watch the sunset, or fun group activities such as scavenger hunts. I would highly recommend this venue for a romantic getaway, a wedding, or even a company function.
