We don't have suite but entire villas or apartments completely independent and with large private gardens each. Traditional tuscan dinner and cooking classes available in our exclusive restaurant inside the family 1491 villa.

Reviewed By Sue OWe stayed here a couple of years ago and visiting Cortona again this year didn't hold out much hope of finding it again. But we did and were greeted by the owners cute dog! Luckily we were able to stay one night in the same lovely apartment and were so pleased. The owner kindly said we could use the swimming pool at another of his nearby properties but we decided to just sit in the garden for a couple of hours in the warm sun and enjoy the peace & quiet, listening to the birds and the insects humming - wonderful. There is a large, well appointed kitchen, living, dining room, pretty bedroom with very comfy bed & two beautiful bathrooms. All either open onto or look out at the peaceful garden. Just a short drive from the old town of Cortona this is the perfect place for a Tuscan stay.

Reviewed By jaimeodonnell14I had the best stay at Villa Cassia. The setting is idyllic; beautiful gardens, pool, and clean rooms make you feel right at home. Giancarlo and Sofie’s hospitality is amazing; they are so kind, and as a solo traveler made me feel comfortable and went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay / could get around town etc.. The food is also incredible with a great breakfast with many assorted items to choose from and delicious lunch / dinner as well. I will stay here again and again!

In the thirteenth century, the Monastery San Silvestro was religious building. Today recently renovated retains the charm of a time and is a charming farmhouse is located 3 km from the town of Cortona. The main building houses all the apartments. You will stay in apartments that take you back in time while being equipped with modern comforts to which we are accustomed. Equip kitchen, heating and air conditioning, WiFi. The park has a swimming pool open for the summer season, gazebo, barbecue and free private parking. Its location, close to major cultural tourism destinations, it is ideal for those who wish to combine rest and recreation. Monastero San Silvestro has a large living room with antique fireplace and entrance directly from the garden, which makes it the location for events and weddings.

Reviewed By StijntJongStayed here with my son and girlfriend for 11 nights. Amazing place, beautiful, authentic, super friendly staff and a great relaxed atmosphere. Located in the countryside, but close to the supermarket and of course Cortona (only a 5 minute ride uphill). Also a good spot to visited the Lago Trasimeno, Val d'Orcia, Arezzo and so on. Highly recommended!!

The Mechelli family offers in the center of the touristc town of Badia Prataglia apartments and rooms with all conforts, in summer and winter. It is also possible to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Bar Vittoria, a delicious small restaurant that offers the typical products of the Casentino valley.
Comfortable & spacious apartment(s) at very affordable price

Friendly owners who own a restaurant just up the road that does nice Italian food. Even gave me a lift to a starting point the next morning which saved me no end of pain later in the day! So overall, a very good stay.

We had a brilliant time. You’ll need a car but visits to Florence, Siena and the towns of chianti all accessible. Staff we lovely. Exactly what I expected of Tuscany in location and style. A stunning treat.

A nice stay
Reviewed By mik0l4j_mThe rooms are clean and nicely designed. We stayed in the attic room and the ceilling was very low which made our stay less comfortable. The pool was clean, however there wasn't enough sunbeds for all the guests. I would rate the stay 4 stars if it wasn't for the disapointing breakfasts. Unfortunately, there was a very limited choice of food, with absolutely no vegetables and no warm meals. There was only white bread and one type of cheese. We were forced to buy tomatos in the nearby store and sneak it into the cantine. The worst thing about the breakfast was the rotten fruit they gave us. That's a shame cause Villa La Grotta is a very nice place to stay except that thing.

The room was filled with a lovely television, nice air conditioning, complete comfort and class. This is not a tiny b&b in the middle of the woods. It was what we needed, a sense of expansiveness and again very warm and professional treatment by the staff. After a long trip, the spa with beautiful steam room and hydromassage in the indoor pool, along with great bathrobe, was perfect. It gives you the airiness to totally also enjoy the beauty and history of the Casentino.

The holiday-home “La Renaia” is located in a country setting, only 2 miles away from Cortona, within a stone farm hamlet surrounded by annexes. The complex revolves around a well-proportioned and functional fenced courtyard which all apartments, individually equipped with private garden, look out on.

Reviewed By tochanoFrom the initial interactions via email, my wife and I felt treated like family by Carola, the owner. Once we arrived, we were surprised with a bigger room since it was available. If you are thinking of an agri turismo (farm business) in Tuscany, this is your place to go. Right in Cortona, clean and quiet. When we mentioned we were interested in taking cooking classes, the owner quickly arranged for them. We made Tuscany dishes with fresh ingredients from scratch. To sum up, high quality and personalized customer service all along the way.
